After a pursuit by the Mexican Air Force (FAM), elements of the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) seized a plane in Campeche that works with 460.5 kilograms of cocaine.

The device was detected by the Comprehensive Air Surveillance System of Sedena when it entered the national airspace, for which two FAM Embraer EMB-145 planes were deployed, who followed them until they made a forced landing 79 kilometers east of Miguel Hidalgo, Campeche, where vehicles and civilian personnel were already waiting for him.

A Heliborne Reaction Force aboard three UH-60 helicopters was dispatched to the point, before which the crew of the plane and the people who were waiting for them fled.

Inside the device, the military found 38 packages wrapped in white plastic, which contained the drug.

The seized plane and the drug were made available to the state delegation of the Attorney General's Office to initiate the corresponding investigations.
