Piles of suitcases collapse at London's Heathrow Airport

A software prolglem caused thausends of  passengers to travel without their luggage, "but we are working on a solution" this acorrding to a statement from the airport.

The disruption is due to a "technical problem" which hasen't been identifyed yet. A hacker atteck has ot been ruled out.

Similar probles where reported in Germany, the Federal Ministry of the Interior recently pointed out that Düsseldorf Airport in particular was affected by a lack of technical staff. Currently there are "selective waiting times at air security checks."

In addition to Düsseldorf, there is also a waiting time of more than 30 minutes to a lesser extent at the locations in Hanover, Frankfurt, Cologne and BER Airport.
