The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, announced this Saturday that he has authorized the restoration of the protocols with the leaders chosen as negotiators of the National Liberation Army (ELN), as well as suspending the arrest and extradition orders against him.

"This is a historic day, we are writing a new era for Colombia and Latin America," emphasized Gustavo Petro.
