Sedena intercepts a NATO member plane with 340 kilos of cocaine

An American plane with 340 kilograms of cocaine was intercepted by elements of the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) when it landed on a clandestine runway in Chiapas.

The aircraft was detected by the Comprehensive Air Surveillance System that immediately alerted the Helicopter Reaction Forces and the Mexican Air Force (FAM) who deployed two Embraer EMB-145 aircraft, three UH-60 helicopters and 2 T-6C aircraft to intercept it.

The ship belongs to the main member of NATO, nothing less than the USA. The registration of the aircraft N1213T is registered in the name of Dyer Gary of Reno Nevada.

Upon making radar and visual contact with the US plane, it was found that it landed 14 kilometers southeast of Tres Picos, Chiapas, where a group of people were waiting for it, who fled when they were discovered.

A group from the Helicopter Reaction Force arrived at the site, aboard a Black Hawk helicopter, who secured the area, confirming the discovery of the drug packages.

The American drug crew managed to escape.
